DAY 1: LINFIELD TO INDIANAPOLIS

Well, day one is under our belts. 650 miles. we are on the western side of indianalpolis. we took off around 6am. ran into a bad accident on rt 23 in morgantown, then all kinds of construction on the pa turnpike. it rained on us a few times but not bad. denny said he is wearing the same pants tomorrow since they were washed a few times today.

our big excitement for the day was our cooler fell off the trailer tongue, hit the road and exploded. denny was dodging water bottles.ice and water. duhhh my bad.

all in all, we had a good day. tomorrow morning we will try and take a ride past the indianapolis race track and then head off to st louis to see the arch and land in st joe missouri.

IT'S ALMOST TIME

in 12 hours we will be taking off.

So excited!

Jack & I have been planning this motorcycle trip across the U.S. since last year. We will be leaving June 30th for two weeks. Our desination is Rapid City, S.D. for the 3rd of July to see the fireworks at Mt. Rushmore. We also have a very good friend Denny Rumler that will be riding along. Our other partners in crime had to leave on the same trip 2 weeks ahead of us, we will definitly miss them. After touring South Dakota we will be heading for Cody, Wyoming and Yellowstone, (maybe we will be back). On the way home will will travel thru the Colorado Rockies, Oklahoma and where ever the wind might take us. We will be posting pictures and telling you about our adventures each evening.
