What a great day.the weather was perfect, started out a little cloudy but turned out to be a beautiful day. we finished going through Missouri, then went through Iowa and up into South Dakota. we took off around 7:45am.
I think the state of Iowa got all of the stimulus money. they are replacing complete roads, not just patching them.
we stopped at the Corn Palace and spent about about an hour or so there. we also stopped at the 1880 town.
got into kaduka around 7:30 local time. the population is a wopping 736 people. i think there are more little motels in this town than there is houses.
South Dakota is beautiful, can't wait to see more tomorrow. we are going to go through part of the bad lands, stop in the wall drug store and then head for the heads.

sounds like you are having a great time. you are in for the sights of a lifetime in the next couple hours. Crazy horse is buried out in those badlands. (unmarked grave) let me know if you find it. How's the butts holding out. Karen
